Pitching, Advice & FAQ

Submissions

When submitting music for coverage in print or online, all tracks, albums, or EPs should be sent to submissions@yuckmagazine.co.uk in the first instance, unless you already have a contact at the magazine.

Due to the sheer volume of emails we receive on a daily basis, we can’t respond to everyone. It would be a full-time job to do so, and then we wouldn’t have enough time to write about the music we love.

If you’ve sent a pitch and you don’t receive a response within two weeks or after one follow-up, unfortunately, we will not be considering that pitch for any coverage. We politely request that you don’t spam our inboxes!

FAQ

Q: Can I contribute to Yuck Magazine?

A: You probably can. Send examples of your work to office@yuckmagazine.co.uk and we’ll check it out. We do get a lot of submissions, so please be patient with us whilst we get back to you.

Q: Can I advertise with Yuck Magazine?

A: You sure can! It doesn’t matter if you’re an independent label, a DIY club night, or a self-funded artist, we offer competitive prices and ad space suitable for everyone. Email advertising@yuckmagazine.co.uk to get the ball rolling.

Q: Does Yuck Magazine offer work experience?

A: Unfortunately not. You’d be bored out of your mind. You can still get involved if you’d like to contribute though!
